In short range group you’ll see a good bit of March, Valdada 36 and 40s, some NF 42s and a few Leupolds.

Personally I’d stick with a March or Valdada.

I have the Valdada 12-52x56 and not use to the FFP reticle, will be shooting my first ever 500 yard match this coming Saturday so I'll see!! Oh, the 1/4 MOA, I've always had 1/8 but just a small difference.

Good luck at the match. That’s great scope I’ve got a Terminator and a couple of 10x60 Precisions that I really like.

Jim Moore had one of the 45x Sightrons at the range yesterday.
I looked through it, and it looked great.

This is the first time I have seen one, even though they have been out for some time.

It only weighs 20.5 ounces, a big plus when building a LV Rifle. You get ED GLASS for less than $1200.

Anybody shot any matches with one of these?

Jackie, I have the 36X version. I shot it all last season on my Panda VFS gun.

I have some buddies who shoot them at club matches and see the odd one at registered sr group shoots.
I have tired one for 100 or so shots and wasn’t for me. I had trouble getting the parallax and the focus to make friends. IMHO I would rather get a used leupold 45 or such if a new March wasn’t in the budget. I currently use March 45’s on my competition guns and have been happy.

I have one on a rimfire and like it a lot. Brighter than a NFComp to my eyes

My brother shoots a 45x Sightron. He's had it a couple of years now shooting group, score, and UBR. Not the first complaint on it. I've shot it quite a bit in load development, etc and have been favorably impressed with it too. Seems to track well too. The one he has is quite clear.

We really like the Valdada's though. WD
