I was digging in the back of my closet and found a couple boxes of Western Super X 220 swift ammo. 48 gr. Soft Point Lubaloy bullets. I think I got it back in late 60's shows $3.90 a box on the sticker. Been in the closet for the last 45 years look like right off the shelf. Is there any value here or should I use the brass? Just curious before I go shoot them?

I have 5 boxes of Remington Kleanbore .220 Swift loaded ammo I bought at a gun show about 10 years ago just because of the curio factor. I don't know if there is any value in these or your Western Super-X but I'd bet they would still be viable ammo if shot. Headstamp on these is REM-UMC and maybe from 50's or 60's?

They are worth about what someone might pay for them. A full box has to be in very good condition and rare to be worth a premium.
