Question on rifle builds

I have been shooting long range for awhile now and i have recently been getting into it even more. not so much competition but for fun. I have built a rifle for mostly shooting paper and im wanting to build couple of benchrest rifles. I built a 300rum with a remington 700 action that has been trued, 30" Lilja barrel, mcmillan stock, jewel trigger and leoupld mark 4. It was mostly a hunting rifle. I am now wanting to build a .243 ackley improved and was wondering what custom action was a good choice. and if anyone can give me good ideas on accurate barrels/twist config and any tips. just wanting a really accurate one. also wanting to build a large calliber bench rest rifle also. But not sure if i should do like a 300WSM or 7mm or what. anyone has anygood ideas amd tips etc i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!

I also was thinking about a the 243AI. I would go with a BAT model B or SB action (the SV is also an option but is shorter and lighter with less bedding surface) and a Krieger straight taper or HV barrel with a 1-7.5 or 1-8 twist. I like 26" barrels myself but may experiment with something even shorter on my next build.

Ackley, home of the no trim case,LOL I want to try .243AI myself but ended up with a 6mm rem bull barrel that I may ackley once I actually get to fire the thing as our weather sucks.
