Afternoon . so I was having a custom rifle built by a local gunsmith and he unexpectedly passed away . So im looking for someone thats kinda local to pensacola fl . Will travel if need to .
he had put a barrel on my tikka t3 action and was finishing a new, different wood stock for it when he passed . Thinking of scrapping that build and using the action for something else (no money lost)
I'm wanting to build a m40a1 possibly off of my Tikka t3 action . Haven't decided if I want to use that or a rem 700 action yet .. probably a rem 700 short action just cause I want it kinda authentic and a rugged bush gun. I have found a few rifles built by GA precision I think , can't remember. But thay want 4500 for them and a lead time of 8 months . It's something iv been wanting for many years and here shortly will be the time I can do it !
