Question on re-chambering or re-barreling

I have not bought far more rifles that I have ever bought.
For me, if there isn't a specific need or use, I really don't want it - even though I REALLY want it.

I think redrock's suggestion to stick to or start out with the 22BR may be the ticket, who knows - maybe I'll find someone selling javelina cases in time. Realistically I'll probably have a few range days then retire this to the safe when the next shiny object comes along. One of these days I'll go on a big varmint hunt and break them all out. Everyone else has good points as well. I wish I would have just bought it upfront so I don't have the back and forth feelings about it.

Oso - Thank you for the information, do you have any leads on who would sell some javelina brass at a reasonable cost? If I had the brass I'm sure one of my coworkers teach me how to load with his equipment.

I'll post more specific information and pictures next weekend if I pick it up.
Reeds Ammo - you'll need to contact them. This is where I bought my initial cases for 17-222 just to figure out the rifle and chamber before I started making my own brass.

Forum Members - Do a search on case forming 20 Vartarg or 17 Fireball and you'll see some common names keep being referenced.
1) Ramos - member on this forum and on Saubier forum that makes custom formed cases for sale.
2) Adam - the originator of a lot of case forming processes that we use. Not sure if he is back making cases for sale.

Well, after information provided on here I was pretty excited about the new journey with a javelina and went back to purchase the switch barrel but it was sold. It was a ridiculous deal but had been for sale for over a year. I was told that the individual had looked at it previously and just now decided to buy - maybe I should have bought first and posted second.

In any case, there was another custom in 221 fireball which, although not a ridiculous deal, was very nice and I felt would compliment my 17 fireball well so FOMO got the best of me and now my budget for single shot varmint/bench rest rifles is spent. I appreciate all of the input on here so thought I would share some pictures. The rifle with the stainless barrel is my 17 fireball built off of a remington 700 action. The new (to me) rifle is a 221 fireball built off of an XP 100 action. If you recognize anything unique about the 221 or know much about a XP build feel free to share, It has a lilja barrel, jewel trigger, custom trigger guard (triple pillared) and some sort of custom stock.
