I see they have 2 models of the competition style no safety but one has adjustable sear for 25 dollars more. Do i need that or not? This will be strictly for 600,1000 bench gun only. Joey edit, yes it is going on a bat b.

Copied from Bulletcentral website. Give them a call great people and a site sponsor see banner at top of page. I have three of them all without adjustable sear panda and borden actions

The upgraded sear insert installed into the top of the trigger allows for some minor trigger timing adjustments due to the fact that firing pin fall changes depending on the direction the insert is facing when installed. All triggers are set for standard centerfire benchrest applications. The second position however, is a favourite among the rimfire shooting community.

On a Bat you will not be able to get close to the recommended pin fall without the adjustable sear or unless you have a Bat action that takes the different trigger hangers....... jim

I'm running two of them on newer BAT actions without the adjustable sear and with the regular trigger hangers. Nothing else needed.

.230" pretty close to that on both. I was a little worried about it at first but they both worked out.

That is great on a bat b 1.5 round and a 1.4 multi flat they were down around a .200...... with the adj. sear it went to .225.... jim

I have a bunch of Bat firing pin assemblies old and new some with the rollers but nothing would work. i tried to get hangers with no holes ..even..... jim

With the firing pin assembky removed
I was thinking about screwing the cocking piece closers to the firing pin tip
Shortening the distance from tip to cocking ramp. wouldn't this increase pin fall?

It will be out of time, but maybe the new ones will work ....... jim

That is where i was, but the one that has two position sear in the long position worked perfect.... i would get mine with the adjustment on the firing pin and it would turn a Bat from smooth into a clunker...... jim
