question answered

Three days ago I posted a problem titled "pattern spread". I had fired a 5 shot group which walked to the left over an inch. I was surprised and disappointed to get no feedback. Anyway I found the problem - the scope was moving in the rings. After it had scooted abt 1/8"BFWDGR it bottomed out on a shoulder on the scope body and groups went back to normal. Problem solved!
