Question about Leupold Vari-X III scopes

That's why I send new scopes in. Open the box, re-pack and send it in! Never any issue after that, EVER.

Should you have to buy a new scope for X amount of dollars and then have to send in right away for it to work how it was supposed to in the first place? What does that say about the manufacturer? I know Nighforce is not one of those company's as the NXS I just bought the tracking and parallax was perfect right out of the box.

I can't speak specifically to Leupold lenses and coatings but in the photography world, computer aided design has made enormous changes in the visual quality in lenses possible. This improvment is even more pronounced in zoom lenses.

Same with coatings, better light transmissivity, less flare, better color rendition.

Of course if some other company does any thing to the scope it will probably void your warranty.

I believe the OP was referring to the Korth Co. They are the Canadian Leupold Warranty service , so no issue with getting service done there vis a vis Leupold Lifetime warranty. Theyproivide excellent, speedy service.
