Question about die rings

Has anyone ever noticed a difference between a split ring, like Hornady's, and non split, like Redding's, in regard to straightness of ammo produced? I have both and am curious if one would produce better concentricy than the other. I like split rings better for adjustments but I am thinking that a non split ring will seat flatter.

Any ideas or experience?
Thanks

I have never tried to see a difference. I do know that you can take a rubber o-ring and place it under the lock ring that will produce a (floating effect) that will allow the die to align with the brass when sizing and seating.
