Question about baiting coyotes!

Granddaughter came to visit and a critter came to the whitetail buffet! His nose is bloody because he was eating inside the body cavity!

This one's a little more realistic; not as cold as Minnesnowta though!

I put out a new bait today, sat tonight. Haven't ever sat on bait until the coyote have fed on. Well about 3hrs after dragging a road kill deer out. 2 showed up didn't hang around long enough for a shot here is phone pic thru the scope.

Nice setup! Are you saving your pelts this year? Some nice looking coyotes.

I can't see the end of the barrel in the picture. You may be right about the bullet exiting the muzzle and entering the coyote at the same time. That barrel might be really LOOOOOONG.

I'm saving nice pelts for tanning, couple of landowners will be offered coyote from their property. Some will go on tables at gun shows. I went back to the bait. Farmers German shorthair had surgery and is not up to discussing territory with the several coyote showing up during the DAY! Sat all night. First of the four. 3 shots 3 coyote.

I can't see the end of the barrel in the picture. You may be right about the bullet exiting the muzzle and entering the coyote at the same time. That barrel might be really LOOOOOONG.

It's 26" long. I like the way the rifle turned out; always wanted a 6MM Ackley! This is my daytime rifle; most are shot at night! Two came in last night; one left!

Yesterday I setup a new bait location. 150 yards from a nice elevated deer blind. Coyote fed on it, I trimmed shooting lanes today. Got into the blind just before sunset, female showed up first in about 5 minutes. Shot drt. 10 minutes later a large male walked into the shooting lane. Dropped him. Here is the female.
