Question about a HS Precision stock

Hi everyone, I am wondering what ill effects I would have if I mounted a HS heavy contour stock to a sporter wt rem 700? I know there would be a bigger gap, is that all that would be affected? Thank you much.

I don't see a problem. Just the gap between the forearm and barrel might not look "normal"

There wouldn't be any "ill effects", other than cosmetics, but I gotta ask..... why do you want to do it?

I just found a brand new one that happens to be about half the price of ordering one. So I thought the savings would be worth it. That's all.
