Q for Members -- Should We Add Comp Forum Sub-Boards?

Forum Boss

Administrator
Folks,

Now that we have the new Forum up and running, one of the changes we can make is to create sub-categories within a larger board such as the Competition Forum.

Some folks have suggested they would like to see sub-areas for different disciplines such as: BR (short range), BR (600 + 1000), NRA Highpower & F-Class, Varmint/Silhouette, and Tactical.

What do you think? Would this be an improvement. The sub-disciplines would all be listed on the front page directly underneath "Competition Forum". It might add a 1/2" to the vertical length of the page.

Please share your thoughts -- yea or nay.

I vote no. In my opinion there aren't enough posts per day to warrant having to break the forum up into sub forums.

As I am new to this area, being introduced to this from a friend, I am looking for any help in setting up my Rem 7700 7mmRemmag for long range shooting. I hunt with this rifle and also a 300 WBY Mag. I plan to set the 7mm up for 500+ yd shots. Any help or info as to where to look would be greatly appreciated. Maybe the sub boards would be good for me to narrow down my searches as I havent a clue as to where to start.

Nay.
I agree that there are already too many sub-categories. However, I'm sure my opinion would change if this were a category that I had real high interest in.
