Q: Cement Source for Shooting Bench?

Just curious if any of you have noticed a shortage of cement ( Not sakrete or ready mixed ) but plain 94 lb. bags of cement ?

I've got a couple of projects ,including a shooting pad and want to incorporate the shooting bench into the pad . I just finished building a Pistol shooting and rifle sight range on our place . 0-50 yd. . So 10 yd. sand gravel as I've got false stone work to do also .
NO cement ???.

From WorldAtlas:

"The US is home to the third largest cement industry in the world. In 2014, 83 million metric tons of cement was produced in the nation. 34 American states have cement manufacturing plants. The states of Texas, Missouri, Alabama, California, and Florida produced nearly half of the total cement manufactured in the US in 2013. The US also has two plants located in Puerto Rico. In 2015, 10% of the cement consumed in the nation was imported with the bulk coming from Greece and Canada. Portland cement in the US is produced by leading companies such as CEMEX, Lehigh Hanson Inc., Texas Industries Inc., and LafargeHolcim."

FWIW China and India combined produced over 33 times the US' cement production in 2014, and since then Vietnam (100M) has gone ahead of the US (93M) in metric tons (2021).

La Farge is a French company. A couple years ago they had problems with the shipping firms on the Great Lakes. They were slow in paying the Canadian shipping companies. That was hashed out but not totally to the satisfaction of the shippers. They may have trouble getting shippers this year. I’ll have to watch the Great Lakes shipping reports. La Farge operated the cement quarry in Alpena, Michigan. Don’t know about now.

Funny how so many different names get plastered on whoever s products !.

Where and How in the Hell did Hawaii get a cement factory ?. Neither of which are available at any of our Big Box stores !.

SAKRETE Portland Cement I/II is one of key components in making concrete and port land/lime mortars. When mixed with sand and coarse aggregate it produces concrete. When mixed with lime and mason sand it produces mortar. Build or repair walks, floors, footings, patios, setting posts and poles.
