Purdy Rx for centerfire?

Curiosity question: It seems like the Purdy Rx method is pretty well established for rimfire tuners... but seems almost unknown in the centerfire realm. Why is that?

Flexible barrels and heavy tuners work different than short, stiff barrels with featherweight tuners. I wish there was a method like that for centerfire

Load differences would have to play a huge role since it changes in so many configurations.

What I found when accurizing rifles with the prx method is most folks didn't get accurate enough. 0.005" will change POI. If you get OAL, or the ID of your tuner wrong it will alter the entire calculation. But after correcting overall length and getting the measurements right, I have yet to find a rifle that didn't react positively to the PRX way of tuning.

A note about centerfire rifles and the PRX system. jump or seating depth will alter the tune of the rifle. If you're using factory ammo and change brands most likely OAL would be different and your tune will be different, but if you're hand loading and control the jump or seating depth your tune will stay.

So basically for those of you who didn't know, seating depth or bullet jump alters or adjusts the same thing that a tuner does. That's why tuners started with rimfires because we can't alter the ammo in small bore competition and adjust our seating depth.
