Priority mail taking forever?

The insurance with UPS and USPS is in excess of 1%-1.5% of the insured faultvalue, run the numbers and that breaks out to a pretty poor actuary on their part. OK---- they loose or damage it, Not my fault, and I have to pay for their "lack of quality control"

Don't use fedex smart post ,ups innovations ,and ups something else. They are bad news. Packages either come quickly or forever.
I use usps prioty boxes or ground. Especially if I need it in a hurry

Wait a minute! I thought this is the websight where folks don't seem to mind patiently waiting 6-12 months for a custom barrel to arrive? So then, is it you are bothered about the extra 3 days that a package is taking to get to its destination???.........OR.....is it really a matter of having to spend those next 3 days worrying about where your package is and why it didn't get to its destination on time?? (the latter is the case with me......ESPECIALLY when shipping a $2K rifle)

Register your USPS package and don't worry!!! Sometimes, insurance will NOT cover you for the actual value of the item. In that case NOTHING is as safe as sending a package registered mail. It might take 10 days....but it WILL get there. Insuranc or no insurance, UPS plum really scares me!!!! My son worked there temporarilly over the Christmas Holidays. You don't want to hear the stuff that goes on with those clowns inside the hub.
