Primers

I did a recon mission into the deep part of my reloading bench and discovered a couple of bricks of shotgun primers. Some go back to 1975 when I bought them. Some Rem 157's and older CCI's and even some Winchester and Federal. The real kicker was 3 sleeves of Alcan 220's. I haven't loaded for shotgun in over 30 years. I'll bet they are as good as when I bought them.

I still load my 20ga with Win 209,s I bought in 1963. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

I have a brick of Alcan primers like yours. I used to use them exclusively but they were a bit bigger than Rem or Win 209s and would expand the primer pocket so you couldn't use the other two primers....they were too loose. They became harder to source vs Rem or Win so I gave up on them. Bet mine must be 40 years old and they still go pop.
