Affordable Primer Sources?

A old store reopened with new owners. I went in to check it out. He had CCI small rifle primers for $59 a brick, so I grabbed two bricks. Went to a swap meet at my club the next day and a guy was selling primers for $2.00 a flat. I bought 3000 SRP from him. I didn't really need that many but when the price is good I buy!!

I just hope people learn a lesson from this primer B.S this time because it will happen again, patience goes along ways instead of buying every single primer out there because of fear. Mainly the ones who talked about the " new normal" might as well just pay 150.00 i hope learned something but I'm not holding my breath.
I see Rem 7.5 are down to 45.00 a 1000 that's only about 10.00 from what they were before all the B.S started.

Average of about $21.00 AUD for 100 over here. That's $14.70 USD /100

It just makes me sick.

Generally no discount for bulk, so 1k is $210 AUD, often more.
That is for standard primers… CCI BR2 & BR4 are about Au$36 per hundred = $360 per thousand and you have to pick them up directly from the store/range as powder and primers cannot be shipped… Slight correction, those BR2’s & 4’s are as of today $39 -

You will need to of course, present your “Shooter’s Licence” to purchase powder & primers… Brass & projectiles can be shipped without any hassle unless you live in Western Australia but since the December “Bondi Massacre” everything related to shooting and ownership {a limit to the number of firearms is coming in and already extent in WA} is in a state of flux… {:~(
Sadly, no HazMat fees that would get supplies delivered to your door such as happens in the US.

Link above^^^.

Not bad prices for individual 1K bricks, and if you can afford at least one of each of your preferred brand/size, amortizing the cost of tax/shipping/hazmat stings a little less.

i ordered a few last nite at within a few dollars of those prices and free shipping. thought i looked at natchez but didnt see those prices. when its a hazmat item i always buy enough to spread the cost out. this time i just had to talk myself into spending that much. wasnt to tough— thanks
