GOOD ANTIMONY SOURCES?

It's been probably 20 years since I needed to add to my antimony supply for casting bullets. Where is/are some good sources that you folks use? Thanks!

I quit shooting cast bullets many years ago. I think they make wheel weights out of zinc now. Glue on weights. I found a small shop near where I live that made lead alloys for companies that cast bearings for heavy equipment. I told them I wanted linotype. They blended the alloy, cast it into blocks while I waited and sold it for a very reasonable price.

Don't forget you need some tin to increase fluidity. It makes sure the grease groves and the base corners are square and not a rounded curve. Tin is the expensive part.

Try a GOOGLE search for lead alloy supplies in your area.

Shot has quite a bit in it…depending on how much antimony you are looking to add to your alloy, that may work for you.

I quit shotgun reloading many years ago and my old bags of shot are what I have been using of late.
