Primers, can they make a differance?

One guy in particular will talk my ears off for an hour about precision handloading and he is a lousy shooter and always has techno excuses why he is shooting poorly.

Funny, we have "one of those" at our local club as well. Lately he comes in, looks around, and if there are any "good shooters" on the line he either goes home or shoots on one of the other shorter distance ranges. When he did shoot with the rest of us he'd run downrange, pull his target off the stand, and then quickly fold it so nobody saw his "Pattern". Wonder if he realized that we'd all looked at his target before the cease fire through either our rifle or spotting scopes.

Yes, seen it my entire shooting career which spans close to 50 years. Guys trying to make up for poor marksmanship skills and lack of willingness to develop them by buying new and expensive equipment. I call them the "Silver Bullet" crowd.
