PRIMERS_
EVERYONE is out of PRIMERS___A friend of mine who owns a reloading company said that the ammunition buying craze coupled with the high demand for componants has caused all of this...He said that the real shortage is due to the ammo manufacturers getting 1st dibs on the primers under contract! Then what's left goes to the reloading sector! With everyone buying up ammunition like they are the primers are going to the reloading industry and he said that they are running 3-4 months behind on ammo orders.
***I have also heard that there is a NEW UK company trying to break into the ammunition market in the US, I know they are offering 7.62x39, but do not know what else they have, or who their primer supplier is. I do know he said that they are sitting on a lot of ammo. My buddy said he tried to be one of the distributors but it was WAY out of his price range___as he would have to buy several containers,traile sized) full at a time. It should start showing up in the next couple of months.
Lapua 6Br brass_
Everyone was out of 6BR Lapua, right? WELL the back order brass I got from Bruno's and the last two boxes I got from Miday all came from the same lot! WHICH by the WAY is the same lot a bought 3 months ago from Bruno's____So even with the high demand for this brass Lapua is still shipping the same lot!
