Primer selection for 17 Remington

Starting to load for .17 Remington. To save time and primer$$, is there a "best" primer for this combo. Will be shooting a Berger Moly 25 gr bullet.

I have Win, CCI, Fed, and Rem primers on the shelf. Just would like to not waste any as I experiment with load development.

If you have CCI BR-4 or 450 they will work well. Or Rem 71/2 primers as they all have a thicker cup to handle pressure better. All these primers have thicker cups.

I've had good luck with the Federal GM205M primers and have for several years. I've always heard the Remington 7 1/2's are very good but have yet to see a good reason to try them yet. For powder take a look at RL-15. Later,
