I think Powder Valley and Midsouth both have the Fiocchi smal rifle and small pistol primers for n stock.

A buddy told me that american reloading website had Fiocchi SRP for $429/6000, free shipping but I'm good on 'em right now. Just checked the link he sent and I was able to add a brick/6000 to the cart, so.....

So are todays prices the norm? Should one wait if you have stock or buy every last primer you can afford? What's your gamble.

I don't believe they are the norm. However, they'll never be the price they were before all this started. I have stock, but I replace what I use when I see what I want at a decent price in today's market. I'm gambling to live long enough to use all my stocked components and powder. In order to do this I have to quit buying also.

PP and SRP are easy to find locally and online. Not so much for LRP.

Recession is coming. We’ll see what happens to the prices when people have to make harder decisions about what to buy. I’m waiting, and I think they’ll drop to at least 50/thousand. I also think it’ll be Spring of next year or so before they get there, but it depends on how hawkish the Fed is this year.

I have, this primer crap started before the Ukraine War, obummer stooped the wolf imports.
Demorats are the biggest salesman of guns an components.
I remember gun stores claiming obummer were there best salesman.
Who makes the most money when demorats are in office ? Oil and gun related items? Why? Fear!

This is the least of my worries as far as reloading components. So when the primer prices have just about doubled I am paying around .10 per round which is still absolutely the cheapest component. Powder seems to be the thing that has increased the most...but not enough to make me quit shooting!

Primers have more than tripled price in the last couple of years, powder hasn't tripled in price. It has gone up but not even doubled in price.

I guess there's no correlation to in July 2020 Vistas stock started to soar at 15.00 and about exactly year later it was 45 00.
3x primer price= 3x stock price, just an anomaly i think not!
4th quarter 2021 earnings up 130%.
Turn the T.V off and follow the money thats the truth.
No different than the drug companies, egg producers etc its there just look.
