Primer/Load question

Gday,
Its time to stock up on primers Im running cci br4s in my308 target load now they run around $115 dollars per thousand here in Oz.
Im running cci 450s in my 6.5x47 and 223 they cost around $80 per thousand im considering using these on my 308 target load that way I only need one type of primer in my cabinet was thinking buying 10000 and be done with it for awhile.
Has anyone got any idea how the cci450 will affect my current load and yes im going to test to see but was curious my current load is,
155.5 berger
Br4 primer
Palma brass
45gr 2206H/H4895
2990 fps
Oal 2.916.
10 thou in the lands.
No pressure sighns in cool weather now winter here in summer shows slight flattening of primer but jumpping 10 thou stops that.
Was thinking load up 20 rounds each and run them with my magneto speed with current charge or would dropping charge 1/2 a grain be a wiser choice.

Yes im going to try first as I have some 450s for the 6.5 and 223 not many but enough.

In my testing the Br4 is a hotter primer than the 450 in both a 308 and 223. The 450 and Wolf SRM primers usually give identical muzzle velocities.

I remember reading the br4 was a hotter primer so I think it should be okay to try with my current powder charge and compare I think I still may load one or two a bit lower just to be safe.
The Br4 being a bit hotter I may have to bump up my load using the cci450 I hate messing with things that dont need fixing but got to make me dollar go further these days.

If I may, your comments imply that you are seeking either a cheaper and/or more convenient purchase of primers you use for your rifles. To me, accuracy is my #1 fundamental concern for the load in any of my rifles. All other concerns such as the powder, primer, casings, tools, etc are the next level of priority. And as you know, testing is the only way to determine which load work the best. In all my years of shooting and reloading, I've never found, that what I think is the best, isn't necessarily so UNTIL that load or combination thereof, proves out in testing at the range. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't let "cost", "convenience" or "thinking it'll work", be your judge in providing you with the best accuracy for whatever caliber you are reloading for. And yes my condolences for that ridiculous cost you have to pay for reloading components. But sometimes, we are forced to pay unreasonable costs to enjoy a sport that we all love and to obtain the best possible results with our particular rifles or firearms. Good luck and happy shootin!

I was pondering my thoughts in bed this morning thinking exactly what your saying as my load is running well may just stick with it and do some testing down the road.
