PRIMAL RIGHTS - wonderful people

Hey guys,

How do I even begin to say how thankful I am to Greg and Kristin at Primal Rights for the kindness and generosity they’ve extended to me? The arthritis in my hands is getting so bad, that I loathe every time I have to prime brass. I posted an ad two days ago in the classified looking for a used or a spare CPS. Within two hours, Greg responded to my message saying to call his shop, and that he had a new one on the shelf that he would sell me for half price. The very next day the phone rang and it was Kristin from Primal Rights. She spent nothing short of 25 minutes with me on the phone, walking me through all the different products that I would need to get set up. After a ridiculously generous discount, Kristin stated that the package would be in the mail heading my way the next day.
This is the type of customer service that gets people coming back time and time again Greg and Kristin have created a customer for life and me and a huge advocate of their products. I think the Primal Rights CPS primer seater has a fantastic reputation already, and they really don’t need me to tell everybody how great their product is. However, I can’t wait to share this experience with everyone I meet. I strongly believe that word-of-mouth advertising is the best and most powerful tool any business has at its disposal. God Bless Greg and Kristin for their generosity again and I cannot wait to get the CPS primer seater and start using it.
I have received over the top customer service from so many reloading and gun related companies, but this is a true blessing in disguise. God works wonders in mysterious ways and I will need to continue his work by finding a way to give back to someone on this forum. I’ve helped several guys with their reloading issues and even annealed brass free of charge to a few guys on the site.
I’ve decided to give back to five people:
1. The first three people in need of annealing service, I will anneal your brass for the next 6 months free of charge (you just cover the shipping of the brass both ways). If I don’t have the right coil on the shelf, I’ll make one to accommodate your brass.
2. And I’m sure there will be two other people that read this offer too late and can’t take advantage of offer #1. If those other two contact me by PM and let me know their situation (no money, single parent, lost job, etc.), I will also extend free brass annealing services for 6 months to those two as well.

I am truly thankful to Greg/Kristen at Primal Rights and I look forward to returning their kind gesture to a few other great members of this site.

Best regards,
Dave M.

Very thoughtful and hoping the priming tool resolves your situation with pain in your hands.

Come on guys, let help the ones that always wanted to get their brass annealed but didn’t have the money to pay someone to do it, and don’t have the means to anneal their own brass.
I’d love to help someone that needs it.
I thought for sure I’d have some guy send me 1000 pieces of 308 brass. lol.

Wonderful example Dave. This is how He likes it. Very proud to have helped you.

In light of your response to this, demonstrating the very best traits of following the path that Christ has laid for us, I will be sending you our entire PrimeWhere Digital package as well. This will give you the ability to readout primer pocket depth, primer height, and seated primers to 1 ten-thousandth of an inch. These tools combined with my testing and seating methodology will produce the most uniform ignition you can hope to achieve. Just give me a ring when you receive all of it and get it setup and I'll take you through the process from start to finish.

If you're unfamiliar with the PrimeWhere, you may learn a bit of it here. The digital is shown at the tail end of the video. The mechanical dial is not receiving any attention in production at this time due to the superiority of the digital, and it's ability to broadcast the digital readout to a large display.

My only request is that when you no longer have need of these tools, you ensure they find their way to the hands of another that will do as you have done.

Matthew 25:14-30
19 “After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. 20 The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’

21 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’

Proverbs 11:25 - The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Your first instinct was to be grateful and to bless others. Dave, you have placed yourself at the right hand of God by your works. Let nothing and no one of this world worry you my friend.

@orkan once again Greg, well done. I have been using the cps and primewhere I think since you introduced them and could not be more pleased. I do have a question, as an early adopter of the prime where mine is a dial indicator, is it possible to have it upgrded to digital? Many thanks in advance and once again, thank you for your humanity.

Truly amazing people at Primal Rights. Greg, God has blessed you with the kindest of hearts and you are doing his work every day. The last 24 hours for our family has been incredibly difficult. While we were out of town last night, we were called at 10pm, that our dog had run away from the dog sitter’s farmhouse. We spent 4 hours looking through the woods and roads around her farmhouse last night, and about 5 hours looking today. No luck yet but we have the word out to every possible outlet and even hired a drone operator with thermal imaging to look in the area tonight. Please pray for our dog Ferris.

Thanks again for your kindness and doing the work of the Lord Greg.

I'm sure we can come to an arrangement.

The digital indicator is in a whole other league of both capability, and price. At retail the indicator configured as we have them, is alone roughly $450. The PrimeWhere body, and perhaps collars you currently have, (since you were an early adopter...) are probably not compatible with our current digital offering. The collars saw a design change early as we switched from a press-on to a threaded twist-on interface. Today, collars are cross-compatible with either system.

So you'd likely need all new indicator, body, and collars. So I propose you find a suitable candidate to give your mechanical PrimeWhere setup to here. You give yours to them, send me a check for $300, and I'll send you a new digital indicator setup with the collars you need. (you'll need to let me know what collars you need.) ;)

Greg, again your kindness is astounding. That said I will indeed do just that. I will devise a way to find a suitable home for my current primewhere and pass it along to someone. I will however need a bit to have the discretionary funds to send you 300 dollars. I have champagne tastes and beer budget so have to plan that sort of expenditure. In the mean time, I will figure out how to determine who I am going to send my current model to. I will start a thread and pm you the link when I sort out how I am going to qualify the applications.

No luck finding our beloved dog, Ferris, yet. It’s been 5 days/nights and we are trying to be optimistic, but it’s really hard considering the circumstances. Please pray for his safe return as this is affecting our family in ways that I couldn’t imagine. We love him and are doing everything in our power to find, but just not having any luck thus far.
God please bless Ferris and keep him safe in this difficult time.

Guys, my offer still stands to help some folks out with annealing their brass at no charge. Trying to give back and demonstrate the same generosity that Greg has done for me.

Thanks guys,
Dave

UPDATE: I’ve now primed over 900 pieces of brass on the CPS unit (all of our brass for nationals and additional brass for our upcoming mid range F class state championship). Previously, I could do no more than 75 pieces on my RCBS unit before my hands and fingers hurt to the point of needing to take Alieve and ice them. Before nationals, I primed just over 500 pieces of brass in a single session without any hand or finger pain. This unit is not only a game changer for those with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome, but also is far more consistent than any hand primer could ever hope to be. Greg was kind enough to talk with me for almost an hour after I received to unit and explain the finer points of primer seating and give me the some great tips and tricks for increasing ignition consistency. My hand primer was holding +/-.002 in terms of seating depth of the primer under flush, relative to the case head. Using the CPS, I dialed in my desired .002-.003” crush using Greg’s recommended process of locating the worst case combination of the deepest primer pocket depth and the shortest primers. From this, I was shooting for .003” crush which would yield a nominal primer measurement of .006” under flush. I measured the first 300pcs using the PrimeWhere unit and here are the average and SD for “underflushness” of the primers:
Target: -.006”
Average: -.0058”
Std Dev: .00033” (rounded up from .0003275”)
Pretty amazing results.

I truly can’t say enough positive things about the CPS and the PrimeWhere units. Top notch quality, and over the top customer service and support.

Thanks Jimmy. No word yet. Put up more posters today and went door to door in the area where he went missing.
It’s like losing a member of our family.
Dave
Bummer about your dog, sometimes they just go for a walk about.
Hope for the best, my Daughters Boston/ Frenchie mix chased a bear out of the yard about six weeks ago, he hasn’t retuned.
