Pressure problems

I have a savage with a prefit 6.5x47 Lapua shot it earlier and had a sticky bolt no signs of pressure I backed the load down even more and still have a sticky bolt any help would be greatly appreciated

Might not be pressure. Might be that the brass is too large for the chamber and is getting stuck. Measure your brass and compare it to your chamber specs ? This happened to me.

Have you changed bolt handle? (After market) I did once, had primary extraction issues.
Went back to factory handle, problem solved.

Primary extraction, out of time. I’ve had a couple issues with this. Couple ways to check/fix this. Made me pull my hair out until discovering it.

Read the links below, and try putting a .020 feeler gauge as shown in the photo below and see if it fixes the problem. The bolt may have been ground improperly and you do not have enough primary bolt lift. If the feeler gauge trick works then the bolt handle is defective and you do not have enough camming action to break the fired case free of the chamber.

but ya can machine the bolt body to move the handle forward. Or machine set screws in your baffle to move it rearward. Machining the handle might be an option also. Just gotta get those two little wedge/ramp thingys to do their thingy. And they gotta contact each other to do said thingy.

Noticed the problem after a block and single shot follower was installed could this have anything to do with it

TAKE IT OUT AND CHECK IT MAKE SURE THERE NOTHING BINDING UP WHEN THE ACTION SCREWS ARE INSTALLED

Any witness marks on the follower? Does the bolt stick when cycling unfired rounds or empty brass?
