Predator Custom shop

Anyone know what's going on at Predator Custom Shop? They aren't answering their phones, and when you can get through to their answering machine the message is that they are "closed for inventory until further notice." That's pretty strange.

Maybe they got lots of stuff to count. Or theyve finally collected enough deposits they can run off to michigan and drive a truck or teach at trinidad college

I'm just guessing they are taking some Holiday time off. They are always closed on Mondays, and I think they have taken some end of the yr time off before, but I may be confusing it with when they moved the shop.

Closed for inventory "until further notice" sounds pretty strange, and this is Tuesday, not Monday. Another friend of mine asked me last week to check on them for him as he couldn't get through. I may just drive over tomorrow to take a look as I'm not too far from there. They were always pretty straight with me, and they had a lot of work, so not sure what might be going on.

If anything was up,why would they leave a message on the answer machine . Wouldn't it be easier and less suspicious to just not answer the phone ?
Hopefully they are enjoying a great holiday .

I haven't been buy in a while, that sucks.

I wonder if Bob will land at another shop smithing or if he's going to retire? Now I have to go look and see if I have any phone numbers that are not the shop numbers.

That is to bad. It was a good shop. I wonder what happened. They were almost always backed up on custom rifles. Bob will probably land somewhere soon. He's too good of a smith and not old enough yet to just retire. If anyone finds out where, please post it. He has a following.
