Predator calls

I like my FoxPro, but 75 yards line of sight is max in cold weather for the remote. It is 6-7 years old, newer models may have a better remote. Oh hard to see call sound list without my readers during low light.

Just wait!! It’s hard for me to read the controller at night now with my glasses...lol. Everything past the end of the rifle I can see just fine!!

Have you changed the settings? in display there is 3 different settings I change mine to the day setting and its easier to see

I have 3 foxpros and a icotech.. they all have features that are good and bad. If I was going to buy one it would be the cs24c foxpro, loud enough, light, rechargable batteries and holds a ton of sounds, also some good mouth calls, randy anderson, rick robbins, tony tebbe, I shoot ALOT of dogs, and there is times when they just wont come to an electronic call but with an electronic call playing a confidence sound and me blowing a mouth call gets them running. This was last saturdays hunt
Alan, Winner!!! cs24c for me.

I have an fx5 (old skool, vintage model) and it wouldnt work at 75yds when it was new but advertised way more. Also have a snow crow pro with same issue. If it did work at 75yds i couldnt tell if it was on anyway unless it was too loud. Id like to have one that ran off wifi and i could put a booster halfway like a bullseye target cam. Also volume and sound on actual confirmation feed back. I can send a sound but have no idea if it took it. Also have no idea if the volume command sent before i play a sound

Ran the FoxPro Fusion for 2 years and was having a lull in responses. One day we went I told my buddy I'm leaving the FoxPro in the truck and broke out the old hand calls, best day of calling ever. Everyone locally that coyote hunts has a Fox Pro or something like it. I used hand calls for the next 4 outings and a Tournament and came in 3rd on a tourney out of OK. with my old Primos Randy Anderson calls. Get the Fox Pro and you will have good luck with it but don't forget to switch it up now and then.

I won't get into this since over the years i have collected drawers full of any kind of calls you can name, at certain times of the year most of them would work. What i will offer is that the one thing you can do for spring hunting or all year if the ground doesn't get rock hard is a very simple very light weight blind made from camo burlap that's in the hunting section of wally in the spring time.

Cut it large enough to give you room to wiggle around, then go to the garden section in wally and get a few of the plastic tomato stakes, weave them through the burlap and you have instant blind, if like here you may need to sit still for an hour at a time so that smart critter will finally come in, you can now move a little bit so your legs don't fall asleep while waiting.

This has worked for me in the forest and desert and grasslands, just tie it into a bundle and carry it under your arm or on top of your backpack or what ever, it doesn't weigh anything and will improve your hunt. If the ground gets hard just pull the stakes out and throw the burlap over your legs, you can still move a bit and be covered.
