Precision woodcrafting benchrest stocks

Thanks. I will try and fit it into my schedule. You have the exact rifle I'm looking to build. I'm thinking the Nov 1st match may work better for me.

I'm also having trouble finding a top notch gunsmith to do the action/barrel work. I called a few this morning. Either they are not taking on any more work or it is 6 months minimum.

I would believe 6 months would be a minimum, as I think everyone is behind. I bought my barrel used and it was supposedly done by Chad Turner in West Virginia. A guy at the range just had a 2500 done by Whidden Gun Works at least that was on the barrel. I believe he is in GA.

Best time frame I could actually find was from Mark Penrod, and that is about 4 months. Aligns well with the stock build so I'm going for it. I'll just have to shoot my old Anschutz over the holidays.

I'm beginning the process of building a benchrest 22. Action will be a 2500x. Probably a Shilen barrel. My question is on stocks. For whatever reason, it seems like higher end stock availability is not too good. I'm considering a Precision Woodcrafting Dymalux, but I have not found any reviews. Anyone have any experience with them?

Check what the winners use in rimfire benchrest. Rotex for sure, but I would probably go with Alex if doing position shooting.
