Precision Shooting Quitting?

I've been a PS subscriber (not even an IBS member!) for many years. Issues used to arrive in the mail faithfully on the first or second day of every month. I'm still waiting for November....... You would think that they could at least send some notice out to their subscribers, but then, that's probably asking too much. Don

Ddkearney,

My PS came late this month. There was an explanation that they had changed printers and there was some delay getting this issue out.

That was my experience also. I really hate to see them have troubles, but it is the sign of the times...I guess.

I was coached by one (the one?) principle behind PS, who volunteered his time to help me at a Benchrest school in NY some years ago. While I never went into the game due to the fact my pockets are not that deep, I have his photo on my wall, and remember his timewith me warmly. For the same reasons I did not go into benchrest, I sadly discontinued my subscription to PS. Personally, I really liked the articles, particularly the Last Post and the historical articles, because they were written at a level above the numerous "black gun" promotional magazines at the newstand. I am sad to see the magazine go, as I have been researching an article for two years on Ross Sherman's Dryden Superior rifles, his life and his resting place. I located several of these rifles, including one never mentioned (but photographed) in the "books". No other agazine would consider such arcane material, but PS always seemed interested in the history and roots of accuracy. Sorry to see it go.

Just so these posts make sense, my first post included here from another thread referred to the October issue - it did come late and had the announcement that printers had changed. My November issue is still...?? who knows where. I'm hoping it still shows up, but won't hold my breath. I hope it's not another SCN-like situation. Don

Frank - I guess PS has no intention of notifying subscribers directly with that information. A sad way to do business. Don
