Precision Benchrest Bullets

What are you talking about Mike? When or where did I ever see I didn’t believe it?

I said it’s a shame that it wasn’t shot in registered competition because it would have been a world record in almost every category.

What’s the problem?
I guess I misunderstood you but your previous post sure reads like you doubted it to be a legit 5 shot group, to me. Not personal, either way.

Not saying in any way that is not a great group. Folks that don't compete don't understand or see the groups that are shot in those competitions with real measurements. I'm sure Mr Roe is well aware of that. I'd be looking for more of those bullets also. Good luck.

For folks that don't compete......both are 6mm bullets.

Anything under about .050 looks like a single bullet hole, and when D Coots said “they” were common in short range competition, I had to disagree.

As you’d know, world records range from .007 to about .060. Not COMMON at all.

But thanks for the personal attack.

I clearly stated that it was not personal and that i must have misunderstood your post. Go back and read my post. Again, not personal and no ill intent toward you on my part. My apologies if that wasn't made clear enough.

I threw the last part in just to mess with you. I saw where you said it wasn’t personal.

I think you just took my intent wrong. It’s super small if I’m seeing the picture correctly, and I was if anything, defending him.

“It looks like a single bullet hole” in the context of “that looks like a high fenced deer.” It was a compliment, rather than an accusation.

I remember those groups of yours. A botique barrel maker I believe. 30 Grendel if I recall.

I am amused looking at those groups when I think of the ones I produce.

All that said, I did - one time - shoot a 7 shot group with 223 that the hole was about the size of a 45. From prone, with a sling.

I was quite happy with myself but It actually was a bad thing.
I got to thinking I was pretty good. It's taken 3 years to where I can - often - keep 5 shots within half MOA, but, more importantly, avoid 2" groups.

Thanks this is why I'm needing them the gun loves them I've got 300 left that's at 100 yds
A little advice
I heard this once regarding boots but.....applies to all things
"When you find the most comfortable pair of boots that last a long time.
Stop whatever you are doing and buy enough to last your lifetime"
------------------------------
When you find a product that works, buy enough to last for many years
They always change "SOMETHING" down the road or go out of business
After following this advice, there are a few things I have enough of to last a lifetime
You can never have enough ammo, or bullets, especially ones that shoot as good as your picture shows.
Bite the bullet, and dig deep and buy enough of them.
(I very much wish I would have done this with JLK bullets, because every time I test other high end brands I always go back to JLK's shoot the best.
We can't take it for granted our favorite something will always be around ya know.

I will say that there is absolutely a level of accuracy that many have never seen and may or may not, ever understand or achieve.
This is something that can not be described to people who have never experienced it
You can demonstrate it
-Repeatedly and predictably-
and they might think, "well that's pretty neat"
But still just do not ......"get it"
It's like... trying to describe what Blackberry's taste like, to someone who has never eaten a blackberry :P
