Präzipress vs. Area 419 Turret Press

^^^^^^^So are you saying if you can't load for shit get a Prazi press and at least look good doing it?
Yes, thats exactly what I am saying
Your friends will look at their equipment compared to yours and wont even wanna compete you will look so out of their realm cool...... you will win by default

I can tell you this with all the BS going on, be careful about ordering things from certain countries. SEB X BR rest had $100 plus tariff, Prazzi (Germany) about 5X that.

Happeee happeeee, on the way.
What a bargain. Record time.

There are tariff fees! HUGH tariff fees as you know!

You rarely get what you pay for these days.
Never more than you pay for.
The Turban Prazi Press is that rare exception on the high side.

The hilarious part of our sport is a person can be allowed to have the nicest of stocks, barrels, optics, triggers, but when it comes to presses NOPE!!

You are not allowed to admit that you like a high end press without attacks on your manhood, your reloading abilities, etc..

Prazi vs. 419

Prazi
The Prazi press requires changing dies.
Is generally more accurate and stable.
Easier to use.
Not as hunky gangly large, even the big Prazi is more compact.
Price vs quality and build is outstanding.
Takes the larger dia dies, 419, etc.

419
Rotary die holder, very convenient, easy to set up.
Expensive, dies and press as well as extra rotary plates.
Storage of die plates may be an issue.
Everything is big.

Setting up x2 Prazi presses, may sell the 419 press only and go with the Prazis, a couple months out will know better.
Bigger cases, the Prazi is the way to go. Magnums and longer cases. Tons of leverage and ease of use. Will know better a few months out.
Ordering a third Prazi now.

Update.
It flashed on me while loading some 308 match rounds a few minutes ago.
I cant beleive i over looked this critical press.
The all time greatest, even today is the Forster CoAx.
The Turban is an elitist press, ill agree and offer up, a work of machining art.
The CoAx will do everything as well a few convenience items better.
I use mine for seating only with Newlon custom seating dies.
It just does not get any better ROI or BFB.

If you don't have a destination any road will get you there.

I sell sporting stuff to people for a living. I don't try to sell anyone anything. What I try to do is help them make an informed decision. For many newbies this can be overwhelming due to all the social media marketing influences. Social media marketing sometimes starts their minds down the tendency to view things through a distorted lens.

Questions I always ask our customers:

1. What is your budget?
2. What is your expectation from purchasing said product?
3. What issues or problems are you trying to solve; if any?

I let them know right away that most of the decisions they make are going to be subjective ones (personal preference). I also try to let them know you will need real world hands on experience to be able to develop these subjective preferences. Most people want the short cut. Most think in terms of all or nothing; this can be a disappointing road to take. "Buy Once Cry Once" is something I hear quite often and it is not always true. People do not understand the concept of diminishing returns and so then the depression sets in. This is due to the expensive piece of equipment didn't meet their unrealistic expectations.

One size does not fit all and that's what makes life so wonderful.

Happy New Year!

Gavin test one custom machined press against production cast frame presses.
Mercedes vs utility trucks yet the Rock chucker performed sizing to .0001 of the Prazi.
One day I’d like to read about a comparison of high end presses as with Wilson’s new offering, PMA O press, Hood and Area 419 Harrell’s etc.
