I picked up a set of these flags at the Nationals. I wanted a set of dual vane's to replace some older ones I sold. These are very nice flags. A bit different than the older ones on how they are put together.

Suggest before you buy any flags go to a match and see all the types available. Observe them and see what design looks best to you for reading them. Remember though, they all do the same thing.

I am just starting out, was in my second match last weekend, and I have decided to make some until I know more what I want/need.

I bought some 48" fiberglass driveway stakes from Amazon for $20:

And some Non-Adhesive flagging tape for $ 12:

So for $ 30 I have some wind indication and will buy something professional later, maybe, if these don't get me what I want.

Yep, I don't look like the professionals, but for now it matches my skill set and gets the job done

Dang it Mark! You are wearing everyone out with that carbon fiber over Shilen barrel you built. I’d go to San Angelo with you pal, but I’ve got that Military Muster shoot at Dan’s then it’s to the ball fields for my Grandson’s baseball tournament. Hope you shoot 4 perfect cards and 60 X’s.

I’ve been shooting ARA for about 6 years, with a couple years off when I moved to Florida. If you keep shooting like that you will have a great time. Actually some people I know are just happy shooting, doing well is a plus. Just a note on chassis’s, I’ve known several guys that started out with them and eventually switched to a BR stock and a one piece rest. Best of luck to you.

That’s a great offer. I have had several different flags since starting. Currently using Graham rimfire ball flags with one of his uppy/downy. I will add, I recently started using sail tails and find them much better than survey tape. JMO
