PPC/BR vs SR primer pocket uniformer

I noticed Sinclair has a primer pocket uniformer for PPC/BR and small rifle primer.
What's the difference?

The Small Rifle and PPC/BR uniformer are the same diameter, however the difference is in the depth of the cutting surface. The PPC will cut a few thousandths deeper, on average the small rifle will cut down to .120" and the PPC/BR will cut to .122" to accomodate the specifications on the PPC flash hole. Thanks

Well you are welcome but now I am perplexed about the part of the above answer from Sinclair that states; "to accomodate the specifications on the PPC flash hole." because I don't follow what the specs on the flash hole have to do with it.

I am fairly new to the dasher and I noticed my small rifle primer pocket tool does not even clean the carbon out of the fireformed brass (Lapua).

I must have been doing it wrong over the years small rifle is the same depth no matter what. The difference you see is how they are set...... one is wrong. jim

Sorry for the confusion.
I was asking about the different tools sold by Sinclair International.
They specify one for PPC/BR and a additional reamer for small rifle.
As stated above the PPC reamer is designed to cut .002 deeper.

Never looked at that, been using the same tools for 25 + years. i guess i'm behind the times ...... jim
