I met George Clooney in a bar near Lexington once, and he asked me if OP was ever going to post pictures. But that was years after I hung out in Princes studio, where he was recording a new song called "show me the pictures"
NO, he came looking for a gunsmith, and got it!
Name dropping, Greg Walley, probably handled more Panda bolt Handel's than most. I've shot with Greg and know he knows how to work on anything Panda.
An hour from the OP, and can do it by appointment, no wait, he'll if yer times worth anything, this is the cheapest route, and way less time than grinding making and setting up to turn heads on cases, let alone the time doing it.
But
I hear what your are saying and it is a point well taken. However the advice of having a new bolt made is a contradiction when you start talking about wasting time (time and money in this case). The practical time saving solution would be to shoot a 30 Major or 30 Stewart and not a 30 BR. No need to change your bolt face and quality brass is available.
The power of the sport and this forum is the volume of knowledge shared here.
Options are always nice. The prudent thing to do is to explore your options. I'm just grateful so many are willing to share different valid points of view and options. For some of us it is a great help in solving problems and fostering new ideas.
Again it's all about having a good time and not being right or wrong. Sometime the journey is more valuable the destination.

Your right, but you have to sometimes take in in some relevant answers to get the one asked for in the first place, all good unformation for some!
We got some ideas for those that never heard of case head turning, again very usefull for some instances, not this one.
The guy wants to build a 30 BR, since he already has 2 ppc Pandas, one dual port with the ppc bolt face. One rb lp 308 bolt face. The first was what he wanted to use. He hasn't been back because he got the answer to his question, and has no intentions of adding more steps to prep.
I've shot with Greg Walley and know this man knows Pandas as well as anyone, and is truly faster and less expensive to do the bolt work, as mater of fact by appointment while my buddy waits.
I've been wildcatting a long time, I know guys that can dual port Savages any way you like, side bottom you name it, but I would have to go to another, to do a Remington. Just the way it is, as most QUALITY GUNSMITHS, choose the arena they want to specialize in.
Most can work on other actions but prefer to specialize in one. He'll I own 2 Dwight Scott Bats, one Scoville, One Scarburough. But when I wanted him to build one once on a Kelbly stock, he told me to find another gunsmith!
But threads like this that derail from the OPs original question bring much information that many come here to find. In this case me! I knew a lot of gunsmiths that could do it, none wanted to, even stating it would be much cheaper finding a gunsmith that were already converting the Panda.
Greg Walley is that man, I just wasn't aware that he had went out on his own after leaving Kelbly's.
But make no mistake LVLAaron, he is not ignoring you, but working out of town on the road he hasn't stopped in much after getting Gregg's referral! But I doubt you see a picture, but really, it's just a 90's Panda Bolt.
You nailed it c2a3r4l, no wait, no shipping done on the spot! Hope to see you soon at the match! Be ready, I'm bringing a new girl to the dance,,,,,,
