Powdercoat/cerakote for sloppy bolt

I've got a ruger American with sloppy bolt to receiver fit. I am thinking powdercoat or a ceramakote to take up some of the clearance. Are there any coatings that might work better?

Well, there's sloppy, and there's SLOPPY.
Properly applied, Ckote is a mil thick- some of the more opaque colors require several coats so they'd be thicker. You'll add .002 to .005 initially, like any coating it will wear.

Micro Slick is actually designed for this purpose, and it'll remove some clearance at the same time.

Not a huge problem. I made it into my practice match rifle for NRA across the course highpower. The rapid fire stages would be a little smoother. Mostly it just seems sloppy compared to my other ones. Maybe a solution looking for a problem.
