Could you please explain "jobber cost"?

I have always maintained that the per pallet price from the manufacturer has never changed significantly. The huge markups has been coming from the dealers the whole time.

I remember times when they were the only ones that had the powder I was looking for, and they were higher in price. But no one was giving it away if they could get it back then.

LSherm, the “new normal” guys are the ones who screwed all of us and the pricing in the first place. Annoys me when those kind of folks drive pricing up for everyone!!

After a quick search for cci450s the cheapest I found was $79.00. Still better than $100.00 for 1000. have my funds allocated elsewhere at the moment for different projects. But if they ever did get down to $50-60 per 1000 I'd be stocking up.

I was in the grocery store and was in the self- check out line. It was full of people and there was no way one person could watch all of them. I asked the woman that was supervising them how she did it, and she said, not very well. If someone came through, with a full cart and just did not pay, once they got outside, there was nothing she could do about it. I've read that a a lot of stores do not have self-check out any more. With the prices of everything going up everyday on everything, seems like there is no use complaining.

For anyone driving distance to Ebensburg Pennsylvania, there is Cacassociatesinc.com. You can’t buy online or have it shipped. You have to call and they will put your order together for pickup. You can also just stop in, which is what I did yesterday. Worked out well being just 30 minutes out of my way during my trip to Altoona. I bought for me and 3 buddies. No hazmat fee but “technically” shipping cause I had to drive to their warehouse. The highlight was a vietnam vet came in behind me so I got to meet and talk with him for about 10 minutes.

Decent web site, you can see what they have in stock with prices and it’s categorized so you can find stuff. Powder Valley is pretty tough to find stuff as all their reloading supplies under 1 menu option. Takes an awful long time to get through all the items.
