Powder scale accuracy range

FedEx just dropped off $21 worth of test weights (shipping included).
Get ready for this.
10 sets of 5,10,20,20,50,100 gram cheapo Chinese weights for $21 ($20.82)
Total :)

About the only thing more dumber than that?
Buying another 10 sets.
Yup, be here Monday :)

Be up nights checking these.

If I got help they might not let me own guns.

So, the first 10 sets have been checked with some weights a little high, brought down close to nominal.
A second test in a few days to verify findings.
Measurements are a hobby of mine.

For those of you that can SEE 1 kernel of powder with your scale, actual weight of the charge might not really matter.
SAMENESS is what you need.
If you calculate precision needed to verify +/- 0.02 grains for a 44 grain charge (about +/- 0.05%) just what class weight would you need?
Just what percentage is needed for accurate powder charges?
Bullet weight? Case weight? and now Primer weight?

Guess I'll wrap this up for now.
To answer the original question, you have to have a means of checking the linearity of the scale at several points within the range you plan on using it.
The method you use can be real weights of suitable accuracy or a series of EQUAL weights.
In the first picture I used Mass Standards to determine how well the scale tracks, and in the second picture the stack of dimes I selected or worked to make them as equal to each other as I could. You can stack them one by one, add in a "Green" one or two, then the "Red" ones.
Record the indicated deviation from your predicted weight.
