Powder Price Jump?

they didn't yesterday. (had 1lb containers) and with hazmat and shipping it would have been about the same final cost. I am just happy to have another jug on hand.
Yeah I was aware of the final cost when I posted. However they did have it the evening before, and I usually buy 3 or more 8 pounders at a time, and primers if they have them. It then definitely makes it worth the hazmat and shipping. On another note, I don't use Varget. I divorced it a long time ago.
When Hazmat comes into play, Powder valley I have found
usually charges the least. Buying powder at an LGS, usually
reflects a a higher price since the shop owner is recouping
the Haz fee he is paying, However after recouping that fee,
any sales after that is gouging in my opinion......Seen a pound
of H4831 sitting on a local shelf, and stickerd at $38 !! The
following week I went in to talk shop, and just about all rifle
powders were sold out.
