Powder measure?

Lee Perfect Powder measure works better than anything else I have tried (including Harrell's and RCBS Competition) for stick powders.

+1 Plastic parts seem to work better with the stick powder...really.

The Lee is almost unbearably cheesy, but it's a great design. It uses some kind of soft wiper to level off the powder charge, and doesn't cut any grains.

My RCBS Competition one that cost about six times as much tries to cut grains of 4064, Varget, N150, Reloder 15, etc., and each time it happens if you force it through the cut you can count on that charge being wrong.

The Lee never does that. It is remarkably accurate. I have mine dedicated to use with Retumbo and H1000 on my .338 LM and it does a way better job than the RCBS. The Harrell's I had for a couple days was even worse than the RCBS with large stick powders, although I understand that if you spend the time learning exactly how to throw with it (queue Boyd) it can work very repeatably with smaller stuff.

Any volumetric measure will "suck equally well" in that they have to try to dump a relatively large load of powder on one try. This is why tricklers were invented and why all digital scale/dispenser combos use the coarse and fine trickler method of dispensing powder.

I have the Lee just checking if any of the orthes work better. I pour low and and use a trickler on the scale to finsh. Thanks for the info all

Lee should market their perfect powder measure and neck collet die for a couple hundred, slick them up a little and everyone would praise them. Their collet die is very good.
