Powder Measure for filling 17 and 20 cal cases

Trying to decide which powder measure is best for filling 17 and 20 cal cases.
Can anyone offer an opinion or share experience?
I am using Ramshot Big Game.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Choose the measure you like and use it with caliber specific funnels. Powder leakage is usually pretty bad when dumping directly out of a measure into those tiny case necks unless you use matching funnels. There may be measures that have interchangeable spouts, but I'm not aware of any.

You should really consider weighing individual charges. On some cartridges a tenth or two overcharged can put you into the danger zone.
Throw onto a scale then use a caliber specific funnel

21st Century makes great funnels (aluminum funnel with a clear acrylic drop tube). I like the 3" for my smaller cartridges. Buy the funnel size that fits your caliber.

Don't try to us a 223 size funnel to drop powder into a 17 caliber neck...it will spill out around the gap between neck and funnel.

I have a RCBS 17 cal funnel, I drop to scale pan and then check on beam scale. For the 20's I have a Satern with Benchmark or 8208 I drop into funnel with case. I have a RCBS 22-45 cal funnel works for rest of my needs except for my 7saum, had to get a Satern to avoid spillage.

I have used a RCBS powder thrower with the 17 caliber insert in the bottom for over 30 years on my high volume production squirrel rounds, shooting over 10,000 rounds a year with no problems. I check the throw frequently on my A&D scale and it's good enough for high volume. If I were starting over I might buy a better powder thrower but this is what I have. At the volume that I'm shooting I am not going to single weight each charged, not going to happen. Just my opinion for what it's worth

I use the Saturn funnels for my .20 & .224 calibers. Tried the RCBS 17 Cal, but it allowed powder to seep between the case mouth and the funnel. So I took a 17 cal empty case, went down to the local hardware store and in the kitchen dept. found a aluminum funnel that the mouth just fit inside the case mouth and now all the powder drops into the case. Think it cost $1.50

Great idea!!!!

Harrells Schuetzen powder measure with the right caliber drop tube. Works better than anything ive ever used! I load all cartridges straight out of the measure from a 17 Squirrel up to a 20 TAC. Best money ever spent!!

Ordered the RCBS Competition Powder Measure Pistol/Small Rifle with the 17-20 cal tube. That one will do .5-40 grains.
Thank you one and all for your input!! Great hobby filled with great people. Hope everyone is having as much fun as me.

I've used a couple of different Harrells and my old Culver measure, but the measure that out performs all of those is a Belding and Mull. They are kind of a PITA to use with the tube and a funnel but after extensive testing, they throw more accurate charges than all the others. I have one for my .17 Mach IV and another for a .20 wildcat thing I shoot.

I normally use a Harrell's but won't drop that low of a charge accurately for my .17 Hornet. I bought a Hornady powder measure that has the micrometer dial on the charge handle and bought a pistol charge insert for it. Will throw a charge VERY close. I find that I still feel the most comfortable weighing each charge - but that will get you as close as you are going to get throwing a charge.

Big thanks to everyone for your input!!
While the RCBS measure was inbound I found a Harrells Schuetzen powder measure with a stand locally.
The Harrells Schuetzen powder measure looks like the better of the two.

Always get powder out and around the neck on my 20 caliber case necks. Even with the smaller caliber RCBS adapters so I went with small funnels. Had issues with one company that wouldn't bother to fix my problem. Funnels wouldn't fit the case necks so I sent then back. Never will deal with Extreme Hardcore Gear again!
Tried Heart funnels and had the same issue. They said "send them back" and we'll get it right. Did that along with a few cases for neck size. They DID get it right and got my business from now on!!! And by the way, I didn't expect to get something for nothing. No free lunch so I always expect to pay my way.
