Powder measure baffled drop ramp

I saw a video on You Tube of a guy who has developed a baffled and angled ramp that screws onto a powder measure. It slows down the powder enough so that it does splash out of the pan after you dump from the measure. Is anyone familiar with this product? I have not been able to locate the video again. I think the man is from Texas.

Man I know this is a super old post but is there anything available like this? What this gentleman made is exactly what I need.

You could also trim a plastic funnel placed below and slightly off-center of the spout. Anything to break up the however-far-the-straight-drop-is will help.

Or just use a taller weigh pan.

A couple of things: On a balance type scale you really do not have the room for a taller powder cup. The point of the invention is to be able to drop a charge directly into the pan while it is still on the scale. Of course you can hold the pan against the drop tube, but that requires more time, and is an additional operation. Several years back, I rigged up a Rube Goldberg (dating myself here) contraption that got the job done. Using it the time required to go through the complete cycle: dump powder in pan, trickle the charge up, dump charge in funnel, replace pan on scale, was about 18 seconds, and I could easily trickle to half a tenth on a tuned balance scale, with a web cam, viewing on a monitor. More recently, using a digital scale, with practice I can trickle to +- .02 gr. with reasonable speed. If +- .1 is good enough for your application (and for most it is) then something like the Chargemaster lets you seat a bullet while it is dispensing the next charge.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I’m on the Rub Goldberg journey haha. Trying to dump onto the pan on the scale. Got a taller cup which helped but still lots of splash. I searched the interweb looking for ideas and the video in the link has been the best over seen. Im seeing how a 3d printer would come in handy for something like this.
