Powder measure (again)

I’ve reloaded plenty with a manual powder dump. An RCBS Uniflow and 5-0-5 balance scale will always have a place on my bench for possible SHTF type scenarios (no electricity). However with modern advances, I’ve gone “gucci” with my powder measuring. I figure if it’s a variable I can completely control, why not eliminate it as a potential for any accuracy issues? Plus it’s a ton of fun playing with these things…

Been using a Redding BR3 for about 35 yrs now, had a Lyman 55 for a few yrs before that, didn't like the adj on the Lyman, Redding had a micrometer adjuster on it, much nicer to use. Record the setting for the powder, carry on. I only use it with ball powders, don't have anything I load that uses flakes. I went thru the phase of trying to load stick powders on the Lyman, went back to just using the 'ol Lee scoops and the beam for them. I can setup, double check ball powder throws and get 25-30 rds done in the 1/2hr an elec dispenser takes to warm up with the thrower. Thrown enough loads on it that I trust it, and the bulk of its use these days is for gopher rds, not trying to shoot bugholes with it. I used it at Coors matches, likely threw 30k rounds for my 32-30 and 32-40 with the Redding in a space of 4 yrs doing that. I have a Chargemaster and a V4, I use them for stick powders now.
