Some guy I know who was creating a powder labeling product for those who leave hoppers loaded told me that only the pistol powders discolor the reservoir. My 550b definitely has a lot of discoloration. It's about 30 years old though.does leaving powder in the charge master discolor the clear reservoir
Same here. Each bottle pd powder I have gets two masking tape labels. One to keep on the bottle. One to put temporarily on the hopper when the powder is in it. When I dump the powder, I move the labe back to the bottleI go so far as to use a Brady labeler and label the cap w/contents. Masking tap & a sharpie will work too.
Hmmm? someone once told me that if it had a block on the line it was converting to DC which would not require the line to be cleaned up ?Wise man, very true words.
We have tensile testers at work and there is a power conditioner feeding them. All it takes is some noise to make electronics go haywire.
I've never had an issue with power conditioning, or lack thereof.Hmmm? someone once told me that if it had a block on the line it was converting to DC which would not require the line to be cleaned up ?
If I know how many loads, I will be doing I weigh out the powder +10% and put it in my powder charger. Then there is typically a couple of dumps left and easy to clean.I normally remove all the powder out of my hopper after every loading session. Well I loaded one night and was planning on loading more of the exact same thing the following day. Well life got in the way and after about a week I got by to reloading. My question is that powder ok that I left in the charge master. Would there be too much humidity absorbed by it??? Will it be ok but not as consistent?
I don't know about that one. It is customary to have a mains filter or line reactor going into VFDs, even the drives going to DC motors, have several at work this way. Also have several w/dedicated isolation xfmers.Hmmm? someone once told me that if it had a block on the line it was converting to DC which would not require the line to be cleaned up ?
