Had a bullet stick in the lands - powder in the action and the sear wouldn't release so it was obvious a kernal had fallen down into the works.
Back at home I shook the gun a bit while inverted and the sear now releases but I have a ton of take up (creep) before release.
Anyone ever disassemble a Jewel trigger? I'm not looking forward to doing it but seems I have no choice.
