Did more test loads for my 300wm with Hor. 225bthp's & RL33, to find higher nodes. It was kind of like picking a favorite child. Everything was .75 moa & better @ 100yds. Best groups were .4moa @ 77.8gr & .550moa @ 80.2 grains. I lost some light during the last bit of testing so my chrony was not reading reliably. But based on the info I've compiled from previous chrono readings I can safely say that the 80.2 load was running in the 2900+ range. 80.2 grains was my highest charge during this outing, but I'm going to try higher as the groups were just getting better as the powder charge increased. In my initial tests my ladder stopped at 81 grains with only a slightly flattened primer. I know there is the case capacity for more powder & possibly more velocity but there is that point of diminishing returns. That said I'm a curious bird & I'll probably run 80.5 upto 82 grains just to see what's possible. This wouldn't be my first rifle that had it's accuracy node above a book max charge either..Do you think RL33 will give better velocity or is it too slow ?
