I finally got this thing working and many thanks to several folks who offered a helping hand.
Been working on this off and on in spare time but works fantastic. Tried a several designs but this one is the cats Azz.
So If you like beam scales, I built this control system for about $80.
-Tuned RCBS 502 from Scott Parker (Thanks again man)
-Built powder dispenser with 2500 grain hopper
-On/off power switch
-Red start switch
-Yellow bump / trickle
-Knob is speed controller
-NPN sensor for triggering the relays on the back of scale.
The attached video is a stiff charge of Varget that I use in my 130ttsx for 308. 49g of Varget dispensed at about 7 to 8 sec. Works everything. The system works off a relay module and a timer relay. Throw whatever charge you want and record the time. I throw 2 charges at whatever weight, record the time. It doesn't matter if it over charges, watch the beam for movement and record the time. Input the time in the controller, bang, done!!! I have it set to throw about .1 - .2 grains short and then trickle to setpoint. The slotted sensor is adjustable to move up and down so it could be fine tuned closer, but I like to trickle up.
