Powder Comparison

I tried the AR-Comp, not bad in my 6BR. I just have two pounds of AA2495 to try in my 308 Win, any thoughts…

There is a ton of load data for the 308 Win and AA-2495 online, bullet weights from 110 to 220 grs…check Accurate Arms and Lee data.

Interesting…what cartridge, a 6mm of sorts?
Standard .060 throat 6BR.
last week end I used 31 grns of 2495 behind my own 103 grn bullet Built on 1.140 Sierra jackets. Velocity was an average 2910 over my Olher 35P chronograph with .400 5 shot group accuracy at 200 yards. Barrel is a 1-8 Bartlien.

I shoot a Dasher for LR and usually load them to BR levels for shorter range matches. Did you get any pressure indications @ 31 grains. I really like AA-2495, it seems to be a forgotten powder. In my 223 with 73 Berger’s it one holes at 100 yds. I shake my head over its’ accuracy.

No pressure in my 6BR or 308…do you think it is too slow for a 15 twist 30BR behind a 150gr?
