Powder check problem

Suddenly the powder check system is pulling powder out of the case. Just enough to change the charge weight. I cleaned the entire thing and used a dryer sheet to kill the static electricity on the brass tip. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Are you using any kind of case lube? It might be getting on powder checker.

I am on the outside but maybe I have just hit a stretch of over lubed stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.

Static cling to metal? Maybe grounding it?
Really, it needs to be perfectly clean and free of any thing. Degrease and see what happens.
