Well, everyone has rights under the 1st A, but those rights only extend to where my rights begin.

I love things that are witty, humorous, political, AND erotic.

All of those things are often best expressed not by what is said or shown, but by what isn't.

A well turned phrase or joke can make a powerful statement without being profane, or overtly offensive.

And finally, I don't want to see any infringements on the first or second amendments, and we wouldn't have to worry as much about it if users of both speech and firearms would use better sense and discretion.

If you want to open carry, and use the F-word, some places just aren't appropriate. jd

I'm surprised the thread went on as long as it did with repeated violations and BOSS warnings. It broke up some monotony and was good for some laughs, but it didn't meet the standards. Simple as that.
I did find out that the angry chick raging on the cat was from "real housewives of beverly hills" taken during a meltdown when they all profess how much they hate drama.

Forum Boss, my personal feeling is that the vast majority of members rspected the rules and didn't violate the standards. THere were a minority of 1 percent of members that took the jokes too far. With all due respect I find it wrong to penalize the majority by closing the thread for the actions of a few members. I would allow the thread to continue with a heavy hand. By that I mean restrict the posting of those who violate the rules. If necessary ban them from the site. That being said, don't punish the majority for the actions of a few.

I found the thread very interesting it gave me an insight into the USA. Some quips went over my head as I had no back ground, others gave me an idea of the state of play and others had me RALMAO. I miss it.

A physics professor told us a story one time while he was in college.They had a study hall in which there were no instructors they were told to do anything they want.He said it was chaos,fighting,breaking the windows,smashing the chairs.After all this they eventually started studying not knowing they were being studied.I found the thread interesting in that point ,as to the measure of the group policing itself.
