Posting gun related videos- youtube

Since the other thread was locked ill just leave this here. Start moving your content to rumble where you wont be censored and canceled. Youtube and facebook are going down the anti-gun route fast and its time to move to a more friendly hosting site. Alex has already posted some of his videos there. If yall know any of those guys that post content let them know to start migrating.

I wish there was a way to push the like button 30 more times. This is so important

I visited Rumble and did not see a way to find a specified topic (i.e. Firearms). Some people I follow are going to Utreon. However, some there are setting up channels that you have to pay to view. Forgotten Weapons, the Military Arms Channel, and C&Rsenal. Link is below. I am also trying to avoid Youtube and their agenda.

Utreon

The big one is Facebook. No person that believes in this country from either political party should use FB. They banned the President of the United States. They shut down fundraising pages for conservatives and called it a glitch. They deleted all of the Hunter Biden lap top stuff right before the election. The list goes on. Censoring and hiding information to sway an election is unacceptable. I know its free advertising but thats a pretty low price to turn a blind eye. If your on FB your making them money.

Goes for Instagram as well. Which is even more popular with the firearm community. Same company as FB.

I second this. I am no fans of Facebook from the day one... That Sh*t site is unpatriotic

I watch a lot of reloading and LR videos on Youtube and from what I understand is that YT will de-monetize your video if they think it is pro firearm. They don't ban it just eliminate any income stream. That's why you hear comments like "freedom pills" and such to describe bullets. I subscribe to several of them and have really learned a lot. Eric Cortina, Winning in the Wind, F-Class John. etc.. All good stuff and I hope they don't move to a pay site.

I got off FB years ago.

I post on YT, Rumble and Locals - I will not just move away from YT, they are gonna have to remove me. I also will not water down my content. It is important to support creators any way you can with views, Merch, comments, likes and $$ support if they run a paid content service.

Make no mistake, this is a fight. Quitting and moving is not the way to win, make them work for it.

(((As a side - I think Locals has the most potential for a community-type experience. I like the format and it allows for more interaction.)))

I have a Facebook account because I was taking guitar lessons through it during the height of the COVID mess. Also tried connecting with a guy I served with in the Marines and after we had not seen or spoke for over 40 years his reply was a "wave". Neither the guitar stuff or the attempt to reconnect with a fellow Marine were worth the effort. And Mark SUCKERberg is a punk.

The reason other hosting sites charge is the YouTube is demonitizing many videos related to firearms. Many, like Forgotten Weapons, cost time and money to make and the originator can't afford to have them demonetized so they look for alternative sites. When you watch something on Youtube the ads pay the freight and you have to suffer through them. You really don't think that original content should be free do you?

I agree we need to stop running

There's nothing like watching 10 lbs. of sh!t stuffed in a 5-pound sock - but not watching the gun stuff is what I'm referring to.
